Holding our Fye, watching him watch the world, has been the most beautiful thing. And at the same time, I’ve been watching the unbearable devastation in Gaza. Around 19,000 children have been murdered — nearly 37% of those who have lost their lives.

It is impossible for me to hold the joy of bringing a child into the world without also grieving for the parents who have had to endure the unimaginable — to welcome life and then lose it to violence.

These songs hold that tension: love and grief, the fragility of life and the strength it asks of us. They were written during the pregnancy and recorded and filmed after Fye’s arrival 16/02/25

🌿 I’m releasing this acoustic EP in support of Zaynab, a project working with orphans in Gaza. They provide direct financial support and help match children with families to begin to undo some of this horror.
