Want a few little retreat weeks?

Myself and Isa are both going to be away from 11/12 August – 26 August – and are looking for someone who likes cats to look after B! Bella is a 7-year-old tortoiseshell, who came into our lives as a rescue. She is: very gentle, affectionate and playful when relaxed, and a bit cautious when not!

This gig is in Newcastle upon Tyne- would suit 1 or 2 people, the house is 3-bedroom (with one of the bedrooms being our housemate Rebecca’s). So you would be able to use an attic en-suite double room and a first floor double with a shared bathroom – and there is front room, kitchen, third toilet, little yard space at the back and a mini front garden. The house is mostly super quiet in the day

Other things to know, it comes with a wood burner, a projector for films 🙂 nice coffee machine and we have great wifi! We would appreciate if the house could be kept vegetarian please.

The house is based in SummerHill (city centre); 10 minutes walk to the actual centre of the city and only 25 tube-ride to Tynemouth – the beach!

Nice cafes, parks and shops just minutes away – you can also walk to the city easily.

Newcastle has loads going on and is close to:

miles and miles of white sandy beaches and surfing spots (with surf schools!)
the lake district, Northumbria and Scotland
City day trips in a day to Edinburgh, Glasgow, York, Sunderland, Durham, Middlesborough…

Interested so far?

We are looking for someone to be around the house for at least a couple of hours in the morning and a couple in the evening to feed Bella, some playtime and mindful attention as well as to let her out so she can enjoy some morning and evening outside time.

If it would be appreciated we would also pay for a return ticket for one of you as a thank you
