Want a little retreat week? Some time and space, and some money as a thank you?

Myself and Isa are both going to be away this May 27th – June 3rd and are looking for someone who likes cats to look after B! Bella is a 4-year-old tortoiseshell, who came into our lives as a rescue. She is: very gentle, affectionate and playful when relaxed, and a bit cautious when not!

This gig is in Newcastle upon Tyne- would suit 1 or 2 people, the flat is 2-bedroom (but one of the bedrooms we are planning to keep as Bella’s space so there is 1 room to sleep in – sleeps 2).Front room, kitchen, bathroom, little yard space.The flat is mostly super quiet in the day – there is a dog living upstairs that you can hear moving around at night sometimes, something to consider if you are a very light sleeper.

Other things to know, the flat is warm – double glazed throughout, it comes with a nice coffee machine and we have good wifi! We would appreciate if the flat could be kept vegetarian please.

The flat is based in Heaton; 25 minutes to the centre on tube or bus and only 15 tube-ride in the other direction to Tynemouth – the beach!!

Nice cafes, parks and shops just minutes away – you can also walk to the city in about 40 minutes.

Newcastle has loads going on and is close to:

• miles and miles of white sandy beaches and surfing spots (with surf schools!)
• the lake district, Northumbria and Scotland
• City day trips in a day to Edinburgh, Glasgow, York, Sunderland, Durham, Middlesborough…

We are looking for someone to be around the flat for at least a couple of hours in the morning and a couple in the evening to feed Bella, some playtime and mindful attention as well as to let her out of the flat so she can enjoy some morning and evening outside time.

We would like to offer £300

If you book early you can get a return from London on the coach for £30 or train for £60
